Football season is here! You shouldn’t have to sacrifice taste when including more plants in your food spread. Here are 18 delicious, plant-forward recipes for your game day menu.
It’s heeeerrrre. Football season is back! Fall is my favorite season for so many reasons, two of them being football and the food (give me all the apple crisp, pumpkin muffins and squash please!). What better way to get the best of both worlds then plan an epic game day spread? It’s the perfect way to make watching your favorite team a little bit more fun.
Now to be clear: I love the occasional chips, queso, and buffalo wings, but variety is nice too. When planning a game day menu, I shoot for some raw/fresh items to balance out the heavier stuff (read: all of those cream cheese dips) and some veg items to balance out meat-heavy dishes.
These recipes are a nice option for a more plant-forward spread that will still leave you and your guests happy and satisfied. They’re fresh, interesting and packed with flavor!
