2024 Holiday Gift Guide: Food & Drink

Filed Under: gift guides Written By Leanne November 26, 2024

It’s the best time of the year! I always look so forward to putting together a gift guide featuring some awesome food and drink-related holiday gifts. The price points range from $12-150 so there’s something for everyone. Jump on holiday sales early to get these at a great price!

several food and drink-related gift ideas including wine glasses, cutting board, sourdough starter, wooden spoon, pasta maker, pepper mill, yeti, ice cub maker, caviar, tea towel

Several of the links below are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you I receive a commission on sales. Thank you for reading and supporting my site!

(1) Fable Shatter-Proof Wine Glasses (30% off + free shipping, ends 12/2)

These are the perfect balance between elegant and practical. I prefer the look of stemmed glasses but worry about them breaking so these being shatter proof mitigates that problem! I’ve never dropped one, but after one year we still have all four.

(2) Boos Block Cutting Board

This is a higher-end kitchen item, but one that should last for years if cared for well (unlike plastic boards that should be replaced often). I have the 20×15″ size in cherry and think it’s a nice size for living on your countertop. I also ordered the recommended oil and conditioner and plan to use them often to keep this in great shape.

(3) Sourdough Starter by Heartbeet Kitchen

I ventured back into the world of sourdough this fall and it has brought so much unexpected joy to my week. Amanda over at Heartbeet Kitchen is a wealth of knowledge and sells her starter. For just $12 (including shipping) she mails it along with with detailed instructions for how to bring it back to life.

The starter comes dehydrated, which means you don’t have to be home when it’s delivered, and you can definitely hang on to it for a bit for gifting! You might also consider adding on some of the related equipment needed for sourdough bread baking such as a scale, dutch oven, jars, spatula, and/or beeswax wrap. I have and would highly recommend all of these exact items.

(4) Earlywood Wooden Spoon

I want everyone to have this! The flat edge makes scraping up bits in the bottom of a skillet or dutch oven simple and efficient. Of course it’s beautiful too! There are a variety of colors, sizes and sets available. I have the 13″ in “bloodwood” and will be adding (many!) more to my collection.

(5) KitchenAid Pasta Attachment (currently 15% off)

If someone you know is interested in learning to make homemade pasta, this is a great tool for beginners. I gifted this to my husband for his birthday after we took a pasta-making class. Homemade noodles are such a treat and not as challenging as you might think! This set includes three different parts so you can roll the dough, and then cut classic spaghetti or fettuccini shaped noodles.

Important Note: you need a KitchenAid stand mixer to use this.

(6) Peugeot Pepper Mill

This is actually on my list this year. In all of my years cooking, I’ve never owned a nice pepper mill. I find that the plastic grocery store grinders in the spice section never truly work as well as they should and it’s super annoying. This one is more environmentally-friendly, would look beautiful on your counter (the matte black is lovely) and it has six different settings for the perfect coarseness (overkill? probably!). It’s totally niche, but I’m into it.

(7) Geometry Home Tea Towels, Dishcloths and Reusable Napkins (currently 20% off everything)

I love this brand so much. The reusable napkins (called “not paper towels” on the website) live on my kitchen table. They come in many beautiful patterns, including seasonal which are some of my favorites. The tea towels and dishcloths are absorbent and quick-drying so they never smell. I think these would be especially great paired with a nice hand soap or candle. I’m considering them for teacher gifts this year.

(8) Yeti Stackable Lowball

We bought two of these cups at the beginning of summer and use them so often. They work great for coffee or tea (stays hot for hours) and I also love using them for a cocktail by the fire pit (stays cold for hours!). These come in 23 colors and fit the same universal lid as our other tumblers. I especially love the seasonal Wild Vine Red color.

(9) Ice Cube Tray

Do you ever wonder how fancy cocktail bars make those huge clear square ice cubes? Now you can make them at home. This is a must for anyone who loves an old-fashioned. It really makes the drink extra special and it melts nice and slow. If you want to get really festive, you can also add cranberries and rosemary to your cubes.

(10) Fishwife Caviar

Ok so while I’ve never personally tried caviar, I love the Fishwife brand and pretty much anything they do, so I have confidence this is an excellent product. What a STUNNER and a unique gift to be shared on New Year’s Eve with family or friends. I love when someone brings out something special for the whole group to taste. For the food-lover in your life (especially the one that seems to have everything), this could be the move.

What else are you giving this year? Let me know in the comments of any great finds I missed!
